The Focus 180 is an evolution of the Alpha 180 electric powered glider. The V-tail design provides better control response. The aircraft’s docile flight characteristics enable long flight duration even for novice pilots. The model is also a true ready to fly kit and can be ready for take-off in less than 1 hour. All that is needed is to install the radio, speed controller and battery. Since all parts are screwed together, there is no need to glue anything to assemble this glider. The extremely tough fuselage is made of shock resistant blow moulded plastic. The wings and tail are in classic balsa construction and are covered with transparent Solarfilm. The type 600 motor and folding propeller are preinstalled. All pushrods are of the correct length. The radio tray is made of injected ABS.
