A power-house of an electric helicopter
The great success of the Spirit M8 line inspired the Robbe technicians to develop a "Spirit L" version. One of the essential features was a toothed belt tail rotor drive system, which was duly developed. In conjunction with the CFRP stabiliser panels and an aluminium tail gearbox housing a considerable amount of weight was shaved off the whole tail boom. The one-piece canopy has been modified to accommodate the Li-Poly 3S2P battery, and the CFRP battery support can be adjusted to set the Centre of Gravity position accurately. The sleek appearance and tremendous performance of the Spirit L are sure to make the model a best-seller.
