The Ultrafly Spear EDF 69 is a new extremely sleek high performance electric ducted fan aircraft designed for experienced pilots due to the potential 120mph top speed. The fuselage/fin/nacelle is supplied in one piece, fully moulded from GRP with a generous battery bay to allow the fitment of larger packs. Wings are of balsa, traditional built up structure fully sheeted with ailerons top hinged with covering to provide a sealed surface. The Spear utilises elevons for control and we would recommend a radio with mixing.
The included 69mm 5 blade ducted fan unit is perfect with the included 3500kv brushless motor with a 4S LiPO. (We recommend FlightPower EVO25 4S3300 or Dualsky 4S 3300 GT pack) This combo propels the Spear to speeds of around 185 km/hr!
